As We know, about 71% of the earth is covered by water of which about 96.5% is in the ocean, 2% is in the form of ice caps and the remaining is available in the form of fresh water in rivers, ponds, lakes, groundwater, etc. And from all these sources we use nearly about 1% of the total available water only.
